This is highly subjective…
What I think are elements of good writing may be (and likely are) radically different from what you think are elements of good writing.
In many decades of studies, publishers have found only two elements that appear even close to universal:
(1) Character Development — Are the characters real, believable, and likable?
(2) Story Cohesiveness — The big things here are consistency and flow.
