For me, the hardest thing about that first published novel was waiting to hear from the publisher.
I was calling them like every-other day, driving the poor editors crazy!
And I learned something about publishers in that experience…
“It will take this long to get you an answer. If, however, you need an answer right now, the answer is no.”
