The Two Hundred Word Tuesday question for today is:
As a general rule, which is harder for you to write: (1) A typical passage of about 200 words in a current work in progress or, (2) A typical 200 word cover blurb for a book about to be released? Why?

Any time I have a word limit, I have a real problem! Flash fiction is my biggest challenge. If the word limit is 1,000 words, I write to the prompt, and usually discover I’ve written at least 3-4 times what I need! Then the cutting has to start–and be brutal. I feel like I’m slaying my newborn, since of course, all words I write are “golden”, right? ;-D
It’s easier for me to write in a current WIP, since blurbs are hard to be creative with. How much of the story should you give away, to whet a reader’s appetite? Hard to judge.
