Here’s something that many of you might have some fun with…
I’m terrible at colors. Really, I am. I know I’m deaf, but maybe I have crazy color-blindness to boot.
Oh, I can see the various colors and I always pass the tests for color-blindness, but I can’t put colors together that look good. I never have been able to do that.
With clothing, it’s easy for me…I stick to a lot of black and white. Long story, so I’ll avoid more on that one for now.
Anyway, I found a kind of neat website at:
http://colorschemedesigner.com/
In short, you can use your mouse to slide around and get different color schemes that, at least in theory, are pleasing. What do I know about that? See above.
So, here’s the deal…
I would love for you folks to go to the above website and pick a color scheme for my website. A few conditions, though…
1. Please stick to the “Mono” option in the upper left-hand area. This will make my life easier when trying to implement your suggested scheme.
2. Next, on the right-hand side (pretty much straight across from the “Mono” option) you will see a funny looking, longish number in the form of a link. This is the “Scheme ID” number. If you click on that link, you will go to a page where that color scheme is the “default” setting of the slider. Follow the link.
3. Lastly, just above the link in #2 above, you will see the four main colors of the scheme. Below the link are the five suggested colors. It’s the five colors I’m interested in. If you have suggestions for where to use each of the fives colors you select, I would like to hear those, too.
Just post a reply to this message with the URL to the page from #2 above along with any suggestions in #3.
I’ll then play with the ideas and see what we come up with!
I know there must be someone out there who doesn’t suffer from my particular brand of color-blindness!
Keep Loving!
