And The Winners Are…

I am pleased to announce the winners of my Make Melodee’s Banner contest.

But first, I want to thank the panel of judges: Gracie C. McKeever, Morgan Ashbury, Jamie Heppner, and Lt. Col. Brian Buck for their work. I understand that there were more than a few rounds of voting before they settled on the winners!

Secondly, thanks to all who entered. There were some wonderful banners submitted, and I appreciate all of the work everyone put in.

And now, the winners are:

First Place ($50 in StrandBucks) goes to Donna Collier.

Second Place ($25 in StrandBucks) goes to Brenda Woody.

Third Place ($20 in StrandBucks) goes to Jocelyn Modo.

Congratulations to all of the winners!

It will be a few days before the new banners begin to appear on the site. I’m told that there are details the web team has to address. What do I know about that?

Update: Make Melodee’s Banner Contest

Sheesh…

It seems I have been remiss, so let me correct that.

The Make Melodee’s Banner contest closed for entries on January 30, 2012 with more than 200 entries received. The finalists are now being reviewed by the judges.

As a reminder, the judges are:

Gracie C. McKeever – Erotica Romance author

Morgan Ashbury – Erotica Romance author

Jamie Heppner – Author

Lt. Col. Brian Buck – USAF

I understand that the judges are having problems picking a winner…all of the entries are great!

The winners will be announced on February 13, 2012.

Brian is a veteran of the Iraqi war, has worked with the Joint Command for MIA/POW, and is currently commanding an ROTC program at Louisiana State University. And he has been a fan of my books and a close friend for many years.

Jamie Heppner – Jamie is an author of many genres of fiction who is currently waiting for his big break. Like all authors, he is in a learning process…I’m just not sure that he knows what he’s getting himself into just yet. Grand Opening & a Contest!

OK, here we go…

I guess this is the official opening of my new, redesigned website.

Yes, I still dislike the banners above, so the very first order of business is to have a contest for visitors to design a banner for my site.
